Menu: Taxes Filed Menu

We finally filed our taxes (yes, cutting it a little close I know) and got a big refund back so we’re really happy this coincided with Seattle Restaurant Week which offers full 3 course meals for $28 per person at some of Seattle’s best and most expensive restaurants. Most of these places would cost $60-80 per person normally so it’s a great deal for amazing food. We’ve picked 4 places to go and this week on Tuesday and Thursday we’ll be visiting Salish Lodge with a friend to celebrate his recent employment and also Barrio. Hopefully I will remember to snap a few pictures of the food there! The menu is a little slim because of so much eating out but I’ll still try and fit in cooking up a new recipe :3

Fruit for lunches: strawberries, apples, grapes
Snacks: chips and salsa, hummus and chips, brie <3

Saturday –
lunch: oatmeal w/ fruit
dinner: burritos

Sunday –
lunch: salted cod
dinner: chicken vindaloo

Monday –
lunch: couscous w/ spinach
dinner: leftover curry

Tuesday –
lunch: cheesy rice and veggies
dinner: out @ Salish Lodge

Wednesday –
lunch: pancakes, yogurt, fruit
dinner: pasta w/ spinach and mushrooms

Thursday –
lunch: turkeyloaf
dinner: out @ Barrio

Friday –
lunch: leftover turkeyloaf
dinner: coconut shrimp soup

We only spent $45 for the shopping this week too because of the reduced number of meals so at least there’s that!
