Recipe: Honey and Soy Sauce Sticky Chicken

Wow! This dish is a total pleaser. It’s the basic idea of spicy + sugar + salty is the most delicious combination and it’s entirely true and lives on in this chicken. It’s also a perfect weeknight dish that comes together in less than 15 minutes or can be marinated longer if you want an even more intense punch of flavor. Pair it with a green vegetable and a starch and you’re on your way to deliciousness.

Ingredients
  1. 1/4 cup honey
  2. 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  3. 2 tsp garlic
  4. 1 tbsp ginger
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. 1.5 lb boneless chicken (any cut)
  7. pepper, salt, to taste
Instructions
  1. Mix together all the ingredients in a large, heavy bottomed frying pan except the chicken.
  2. Once hot and mixed, add the chicken pieces and let cook until well browned on each side and cooked through.
Notes
  1. You can put all the ingredients together without the oil and cook this as a marinade instead for tough cuts of chicken but I used chicken breast so it wasn't a big deal.
