Recipe: Thai Green Curry Shrimp

This dish is quite spicy but you can adjust the heat if you want by adding less or more chilis of course. Chilis add quite a lot of flavor though so I wouldn’t recommend removing them completely. This is also a very quick and simple recipe but seems fancy.

Thai Green Curry Shrimp
  1. 2 tbsp Green Curry Paste
  2. 1 small green chili
  3. 20-30 King Prawns, peeled
  4. 7-8 ounces Coconut Milk
  5. 1 tbsp Oil
  6. 2 red chillis, finely sliced
  7. 15 fresh basil leaves
  8. 1 tsp lime juice
  1. Heat oil in pan and add green curry paste. Fry for 1 minute.
  2. Lower the heat and add the coconut milk and sliced green chili, allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the prawns and simmer for 3 minutes until the prawns are thoroughly heated.
  4. Add the basil leaves, lime juice and chilli, mix well and transfer to a serving dish.
  5. Serve with steamed rice.
  1. You can add more vegetables like peas or potatoes to this as well.
