Recipe: Turkey and Brie Sandwich with Cranberry Chutney

Let’s be honest, it’s a sandwich. I know how to make one, you know how to make one but this combo is just too good to ignore and the real recipe is the chutney which makes for one really satisfying addition to the creamy, salty brie and turkey combo.

Turkey and Brie Sandwich with Cranberry Chutney

For the Chutney
  1. 1 tbsp olive oil
  2. 1/2 onion, minced
  3. 1 clove garlic, minced
  4. 1 lemon, juiced
  5. 1 orange, juiced
  6. 3 tbsp brown sugar
  7. 12 oz bag of cranberries
  8. 12-15 raisins, chopped
  9. 1 cup water
  10. to taste: salt, pepper, chili power, ginger
For the sandwich
  1. bread of your choice
  2. sliced turkey
  3. sliced brie
  4. salad greens
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan and once hot, add onion and cook for about 5 minutes, until soft.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and bring to a boil and then turn the heat down to a simmer.
  3. Cook about 15-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until almost all the liquid is gone.
  4. Adjust for taste and then let cool before assembling sandwiches.
  1. You can mix and match fruits in your chutney but obviously cranberry, raisin, and turkey are a timeless combo. Very Thanksgiving.
